The Superior Story

Paul Miraglia, President
In 1958, Superior expanded into a new facility in West Collingswood Heights, NJ and added the production of aluminum storm windows and later aluminum doors.
In 1982 Joe and Paul began to fabricate "branded" vinyl windows. These vinyl windows eventually displaced many of the aluminum products.
Superior expanded into distribution, puchasing a small building in Northfield, NJ along Route #9, in 1984. The Northfield location was one of the first distributors of aluminum and vinyl products in southern NJ. In 1989 a location was added in Bridgeton, NJ and in 1991 in Brooklawn, NJ.
After Joe's death in 1988, Superior Aluminum became a founding and defining member of a group of vinyl window fabricators, The American Window Alliance comprised of top quality fabricators from the Northeast and Midwest who together introduced a completely new line of window and door products to meet the growing demand.
In the new millennium, Superior Aluminum became Superior Supply (distribution) and Alliance Vinyl Windows Co., Inc. (window and door manufacturing).
In 2006, to mark our 50th year, a new Superior Supply distribution facility was opened in New Castle, DE.
Paul continues Joe’s legacy with the commitment to manufacture the best products possible and make them available to contractors and builders at a competitive prices with personalized service. Superior carries premium brands of CertainTeed Siding and accessories, Alliance Vinyl Windows, Kolbe-Kolbe Windows & Doors and a host of supporting building materials, gutters, shutters, trim coil, decking.
